Two days ago, a ship crashed near Keren, Naboo. Authorities investigating the crash identified the ship as the "Meteor's Edge", a converted freighter belonging to Thaych, a suspected pirate and member of the "Sandstorm" pirate group.
The exact cicrumstances of the crash are not known, but neither sabotage nor a battle are yet ruled out, or so the RSF investigator in charge said to the press. Speculation is running rampant though, ranging from internal fighting or an attack by rival pirates to a hired hit by Halephax Munitions Inc. in retaliation for the recent attack on their convoy.
According to anonymous sources, no body was found, but the investigation uncovered clues leading to the assumption that "Thaych", whose surname is unknown, died in the crash. The RSF did not comment on this.
