Kolene, a peaceful town in central Lok, was the location of a violent firefight last night. According to accounts from eyewitnesses, a warehouse to the west of the town came under attack by a band of armed thugs in the early evening. Before the thugs could break into the warehouse, they in turn came under fire from an unidentified group of attackers.

Details are sketchy, but according to rumors, this incident was related to the gang war that has been going on with varying intensity since a major crime organisation broke apart a few months ago. Other sources claim that this incident was just the work of random pirate raiders trying to rob a warehouse of an ordinary trading company and their hired security.

The owner of the trading company in question was not available for a comment. Authorities assured us that the town itself was secure, and there was no need to be concerned.
