Governor Cas-Ru Roben signed an order today, declaring planet-wide martial law. The Governor's office reports such strong measures are necessary in order to combat the growing rebel attacks on Talus, and urges the governments of Tralus and Corellia to enact similar measures.
Corellia, of course, is the home of notorious rebel terrorist Juroden Halcyon. With a system producing such villany as this, it is no wonder martial law is needed.
We take you now to the footage of Imperial forces arriving in Dearic.
*A massive column of Imperial stormtroopers march into the city square of Dearic. They are followed by several Imperial Walkers, shuttles, freighters and supply convoys. Governor Roben is standing on the balcony of the captiol building waving to the troops with his staff at his side. Several waves of TIE fighters fly overhead as the multitudes gathered seem eager to welcome the new Imperial forces.
Leading these troops at the head of the column, marching in perfect unison with his men, is Rhaze Durile.*

"ISS Valor" lost in Deep Space

Two days ago the Imperial Navy undertook further pacification operations in the Deep Space sector. The "ISS Valor", an Imperial Star Destroyer, led the operation, escorted by a task force from the sector fleet.
The goal of the operation was the destruction of a rebel base in the area. Unfortuantely, the base turned out to be heavily guarded, and the attackers soon found themselves in a desperate fight for survival themselves.
Spearheaded by a gunboat the rebel bombers soon had the engines of the "ISS Valor" disabled and pressed the attack, attempting to destroy the ship before the hyperdive could be repaired and used to retreat.
Despite spirited defense by the escorting units, and several coutner-attacks on the rebel base the "ISS Valor" was destroyed after a lengthy fight.

Drunk captain on the bridge?

A week ago, the Intergalactic Mining Company shipped ore to Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell with the vigo-class medium freighter "Forlorn Hope" commanded by Captain Aenius Bosk. The ship was escorted by a Vaksai heavy fighter piloted by Ioman Drago, according to his own words the "fastest pilot in the galaxy".
During their stay in the Naboo system the two ships were attacked by pirate raiders flying a YT-1300 or 2400 as well as an X-Wing fighter. Drago attacked at once, and disptached both attackers during a short battle. The "Forlorn Hope" took frontal armor damage from the converted freighter that attacked it, but suffered no serious internal damage and made the jump to Ord Mantell without further incident.
This would not have been that extraordinary if not for the rumors that during the whole trip Captain Bosk was stone-drunk on the bridge, almost ramming a station as a result of this. While the rumors are not confirmed, system security in Ord Mantell is said to be investigating the matter.
IMC stock rose 5% following the news.

Imperials take control of Deep Space

The heavy rebel resistance caused serious casualties among the imeprial ships though. The following footage was released by the Imperial sector command:
Especially the imperial capital ships were struck more than usual, with unconfirmed rumors of shoddy worksmanship or even sabotage leading to power failures as the reason for several losses. Nevertheless during two hours of combat the rebel forces were forced on the defensive and ultimately decimated while the Imperial fighters and gunboats took control of Deep Space, destroying rebel installations within.

Rebels attack Imperial bases

As was announced today two days ago the rebel alliance conducted offensive operations against Imperial bases in the Dathomir and Naboo system. The surprise attack on the Dathomir base - a small space station - was conducted by at least two waves of rebel ships, the first wave tying up the starfighters that defended the base, the second wave - mostly Y-Wing Longprobe bombers - destroying the base with concentrated torpedo strikes.
Immediately the Imperial sector forces sounded a general alert - just in time. When another rebel force attacked a similar base in the Naboo system the defenders were ready and annihilated both waves of the attackers.
But the rebels did not give up. For the next hour wave after wave, ship after ship attacked relentlessly despite suffering horrendous losses at the hands of the determinded defenders. In spite of the numbers of attackers and even though one or two bombers reached the inner line of defense the base did not suffer any damage other than superficial armor damage. The following footage was released by the Imperial Sector command, showing some of the fighting that took place:
Finally, the rebel forces gave up and withdrew, leaving the Imperial base intact and the Imperial Navy in control of the sector.

A repair attempt only bought the crippled freighter a few seconds of thrust, which were not enough to escape the attackers, and the freighter soon drifted helplessly through space again. While a gunboat was closing in the attackers identified themselves as members of the Rebel Alliance and announced a boarding attempt - only to blow the freighter up as soon as their gunboat was within range. Fortunately, the Crew had suited up in VAC-suits and managed to launch escape pods before the ship exploded. The following footage was recovered from the wreckage.
IMC stock fell 5% at the Coronet stock exchange following news of this attack. Analysists debate still whether the attackers really were rebels or just common pirates masquerading as such.

IMC freighter reaches Ord Mantell without trouble

Six days ago, IMC sent another ore cargo from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell. The freighter "TTC-Chrome Runner", chartered from the Tatooine Trading Corporation and escorted by pilot Chalbow in his KSE Firespray, set out from Tatooine's orbit without trouble.
However near Royal Way in Naboo an unmarked TIE Bomber attacked them. Since the IFF-transponder was not corresponding to standard Imperial models it was assumed and later confirmed as belonging to a deserter. In the short battle that ensued the raider was destroyed without either escort or freighter taking more than armor damage. A few droid fighters, left from the clone wars, tried attacking as well but were dispatched without delay.
Afterwards the convoy continued towards Ord Mantell. After the RSF started patrolling the system in a joint operation wth local forces the raider attacks that had beset the alst convoy there there had diminished and no further trouble was encountered.
IMC Stock rose 2% at the Coronet Stock Exchange.

As was discovered recently, for some time the Rebel Alliance has been trying to smuggle troops and supplies to Rori, to build up a strategic base in the town of New Horizon in their struggle to gain control of Rori that destroyed Restuss some time ago. In response to this, and to prevent another tragedy like Restuss, the Galactic Empire conducted a planetary blockade to stop rebel troops and supplies from reaching Rori while at the same time transporting stormtroopers to Rori to take control of New Horizon.
In Deep Space, the task force sent on this mission, led by Onyx Squadron's flagship, Onyx Mauler, and composed of seven gunboats, several lighter transports and dozens of starfighter escorts, met a strong rebel fleet spearheaded by three gunboats. In a fierce fight, the rebel fleet was stopped and the imperial troops started landing on Rori. The rebels kept pushing against the imperial blockade though, not relenting despite the odds. The following footage from the fighting at the blockade 30 minutes into the battle was released by the Imperial Sector Fleet:
After the first wave of rebel assaults had been beaten back the task force started sweeps of the system to hunt down the remaining rebel fleet units while the ground forces took and held New Horizon until the rebel ground troops surrendered or withdrew.
Finally, Deep Space was under Imperial control but for stragglers and New Horizon and its civilian population was safe again from rebel attacks.
At this time a rebel attack on a supply base on central Naboo itself was reported, and troops moved to defend the base. This is footage from the last attack the rebel forces there started before this base too was safe:
The Imperial sector command announced that this victory and the restoration of law and order in New Horizon was just the first step to total pacification of the sector, and that the loyal citizens could be looking forward to peace and reconstruction in the near future.
