The Imperial Navy released a communique stating that three days ago a rebel transport carrying supplies stolen from several imperial and civilian installations was hunted down and destroyed in the Naboo system. It went on to detail that despite heavy rebel resistance with superiour numbers, determinded units from Omega, Claw and Crimson squadron as well as elements from Dark Flight overcame both the escorts as well as the transport's own defenses, destroying it above Rori.
The communique did not comment on the attack on an imperial courier in the Dantooine system, which according to eye witnesses took place in the same time frame. From what is known, several A-Wings swarmed the courier, a Decimator-class ship, and quickly destroyed it.
Local strategy experts commented that this recent battle could be heralding a growing strength of the rebel fleet in the sector, and cautioned that without a swift reaction, the Imperial Navy might be in danger of losing ground in space again.
