The compound of the Lokian Security Corporation, a small security firm located on Lok, was attacked and destroyed yesterday. The identity if the attackers is unknown, neither Nym nor the Canyon Corsairs or the Bloodrazors claimed responsibility for the attack.
From what is known, the small compound was attacked by half a dozen armed people, which dispatched the guards, including several refitted Droidekas, during a pitched firefight, then pursued a fleeing starfighter with two armed freighters, shooting the X-Wing down in the Karthakk system, at Lurid Dawn.
The Lokian Security Corporation officially provided guard and escort services to various clients and sold equipment to other security providers and mercenary units, but was rumored to mainly serve as a fence for several pirate groups, as well as dabbling into slavery. Therefore, the suspects range from competing pirates or slavers to anti-slaver groups or organised crime organisations.
As far as is known there are no survivors among LSC's employees.
