Following a lull in pirate activity, the scum of the spacelanes struck again, hijacking a freighter in the Dantooine system. The freighter was carrying starship parts to a small supply station in the core, so experts speculate that the pirates in the area were having difficulties keeping their ships running, and resorted to rading for spare parts.
Another rumor claims that the freighter was carrying historical relics in addition to supplies, and was raided on the orders of an unscrupoulos collector, but ist veracity cannot be confirmed at this point.
Due to different jurisdictions involved in the hijacking, it is yet unknwon which organisation if any will be running an investigation into the incident.
