Pirates steal Graul

After the most recent imperial operation, the surviving pirates disappeared for a while. Now they seem to have returned. Last night, the YT-2400 class freighter "She's a Keeper", transporting a valuable pet from Dantooine to Tatooine, was attacked in the Karthakk system, disabled, and boarded.

The pirates took control of the ship and had the cargo, an albino graul named "Fluffy", transported to their Y-8 class raider, shooting one crew member of the "She's a Keeper" in the process.

Tatooine Transport Corporation, which had hired the freighter, was not available for comment yet, but rumors circulate that this was another attack by "Sandstorm", and that the corporation was considering putting out a bounty in response.

Seamus Brenil, a Bestine resident and the owner of "Fluffy", was devastated by the loss. As he explained, "Fluffy" was very delicate, a rare albino, and used to piketts as main food. He stated that he feared that the graul might catch something should it get loose and eat a pirate. He was also concerned about reports that "Fluffy" was shot with a stunner cannon on Dantooine, in preparation for the transport, and was considering suing TTC, the owner of the "She's a Keeper", and the pirates for abuse of an animal.
