Fight Night Returned!

Fight Night, the traditional pit fighting contest/tournament of Tatooine, returned after a lengthy hiatus last night when it was held by Clarissa Goldear in Farpoint Valley, with a grand prize of 1’000’000 credits for the winner, sponsored by an anonymous businessman. During two hours, a series of duelling matches were fought in front of the town’s city hall, and an appreciative audience. Among the spectators were many veterans of past fight nights.

The opening fight featured Thaych vs. Otin, the later receiving the bravery award of 200K from the anonymous sponsor.



After two hours, Melkin Antross was declared the victor, for having won four fights, beating Draz’tek, Otin and a masked warrior who had won three fights each. The winner, congratulated by his lovely wife Issele Antross, celebrated his feat in Jailbirds at the After-Fight Night Party there.

Since the event was considered a success, the organisators announced that further Fight Nights will be held in regular intervals.

Despite the violence in the fighting area, no other incident was reported apart from a scuffle between the fighter Zess and a spectator at the end of the event that resulted in the spectator getting knocked down.
