The RSF media relation center announced that following the earlier fighting last night in the Naboo system involving pirates and smuggler, Imperial patrols were put upon alert. When suspicious hyperjump signatures were detected, a patrol was sent towards the probably route, and encountered a rebel convoy.
The three ships attacked the convoy, encountering heavy resistance from the rebel fighters. Despite being outnumbered 2 to 1, all rebel starfighters were dispatched without any losses by the Imperial pilots, but the rebel transport managed to escape thanks to ist superiour speed. It is believed to have reached Rori, where rebel units are still fighting Imperial forces.
Teran Bulo, a Nabooian politician, cited this example as an "obvious reason to purchase faster interception vessels for the RSF". He did not comment on questions regarding his recent investment in the Coruscant Construction Inc. firm which is offering Vaksai high-speed interceptors on the market.
