Last night the "Tra'ka", a light transport, was on a routine shuttle flight from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to New Kestic on Lok. The ship had reported no problem during its flight right up until it was entering Lok's atmosphere, when suddenly contact to the transport was lost.
The ship broke up in midflight and crashed south of New Kestic, thanksfully missing the settlement itself. A rescue party was immediately detailed from New Kestic but the crew of the ship was beyond hope at that point.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are under way.
