According to a wanted notice from the Imperial Overseer base in the Kashyyyk System, an as of yet unidentified YKL-37r "Nova Courier" class ship evaded an inspection last night. The light freighter was ordered to stop for an inspection and possible boarding by a patrol near Kashyyyk's orbit when a hostile A-Wing was spotted in the vicinity and a fight broke out, during which the ship scrambled its IFF and escaped pursuit. Since the A-Wing escaped as well there's only speculation possible about the incident, though there's some suspicion the ship was a smuggler, or even a rebel-aligned supply transport.
It's unclear if this incident is related to the disappearance of a trandoshan businessman who had to use an escape pod after his ship was attacked in the Kashyyyk system by what seemed to be members of the wookiee resistance. Communication with the escape pod was lost when it entered the planet's atmosphere and has not been re-established yet.
