Trandoshan camp attacked - Kashyyyk's ecology in danger?

The brutal recent attacks on trandoshan traders continued last night when a large trandoshan camp came under attack. According to the first reports from the area large amount of explosives were used, but it's unclear still if those were bombs or prepared charges - or mines. Local space patrols did not report observing any bombing runs though.

A spokesperson of the trandoshan clan operating the camp blamed the native wookiees for the attack and pointed at a number of dead wookiees found inside the destroyed camp as evidence. When asked to comment on competing clans stating that this was further proof of the clan being unfit to operate on Kashyyyk the spokesperson claimed that those competitors were behind the attack, but did not elaborate further on the discrepancy between this claim and the earlier claim.

Scientists from a nearby camp observing the local flora which were the first on scene after the attack showed concern about the remains of poisonous kamurith found in the camp, claiming those animals from Dathomir could have unknown effects on Kashyyyk's ecological balance if allowed to escape. The comment of the clan speaker when confronted with those concerns has been difficult to translate, but seems to be mentioning blood, meat, and large amounts of physical violence directed at "useless lab-rats" a lot.
