One day ago forces from the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic clashed in Deep Space, both sides conducting lighting-fast strikes against installations and capital ships in the sector. In all cases defenders were unable to protect the target, or even stall the destruction for any significant length of time. Heavy bombers and gunboats reached their objectives time and again.
Only after the main objectives were destroyed and much of the Imperial task force withdrawn did the Alliance fleet gain the upper hand in the skirmishes that followed the main battles.
The following recordings were released by Sector Fleet Command and show part of the battles that raged last night:
