Reports of trandoshan slavers openly hunting for their "merchandise" on Tatooine are again surfacing. According to a rumor a group of trandoshans kidnapped a sentient out of a club in Crimson Ridge last week, despite the attempts of several others to prevent them.
And last night a dancer in the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley was almost kidnapped by three trandoshans. Only the fortunate arrival of two wookiees and their pet sandpanther prevented the likely planned enslavement. The wookiees, backed by others in the audience, confronted the trandoshans and heated words were exchanged until the trandoshan left the premises.
Readers of this news service might remember the time over a year ago when such scenes were common. If this is indeed a revival of such practises then anyone on Tatooine is in for a rough time - especially aliens.
