Last week the IMC Convoy from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell was formed by Dee'lin's "Phoenix" and Britney's "Flameout". See'la Tualin, Falcun Nix, Csendes and Dreadlok served as gunners. Barrenger Fynar in his "Krayt Dancer IV" and Cyrinity Lee in her ARC-170 "Cloak and Dagger" flew escort, with Grenadado serving as tail gunner on the ARC-170.
The convoy got attacked close to the Tatooine station by three or four X-Wings. Barrenger Fynar was shot down early in the ambush by the lead X-Wing. Though he managed to eject he was seriously wounded and had to be treated in a bacta tank. The "Flameout" was disabled during the fight but the remaining escort managed to draw the raiders away and shot down one of them down, allowing the freighters to conduct emergency repairs and get underway again. The "Phoenix" meanwhile had shot down one raider, and jumped away from another, also leading them away from the "Flameout".
The convoy rallied in the Corellia System, but got attacked there again by two X-Wings. The "Cloak and Dagger" managed to shoot one down but got disabled in the process, the "Phoenix" shot down the last raider, then helped tow the ARC-170 to the closest repair station. Nellari joined the convoy in the Corellia System and the freighters safely reached Ord Mantell from there on.
IMC shares rose 1% at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
