Last week the residents of Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, were treated to an unusual - to say the least - and dangerous sight: A wampa was strolling through the desert town. A few locals and visitors banded together to hunt the menace down before it hurt anyone, and managed to track the Wampa to the nearby Oasis, where it was hunting banthas. The wampa was shot then and there.
Unfortunately the smell of the carcass or sound of the fighting attracted bigger predators - the hunters had to defend themselves against a Krayt Dragon, another unusual sight in the area. They managed to kill the animal without loss of life though.
How an animal native to Hoth ended on Tatooine is not clear, but authorities suspect someone's pet or tropy animal escaped. Any creature handler or beastmaster who might have lost a wampa in the area is hereby asked to report to the mayor of Farpoint Valley to collect what's left of it, and to settle the financial compensation due to the town for any damages caused by it.
