After two years the Tusken Trophy Swwop Race was once again held in Farpoint Valley, sponsored by the Intergalactic Mining Company. Two days ago not just a swoop race, but also an open challenge where any non-space worthy vehilce was allowed were held, and numerous racers competed for the 1'000'000 credit prizes in each race.
Barrenger Fynar won the swoop race and 1'000'000 credits, with Batair Highlander and Britney coming in at 2nd and 3rd places, winning 500'000 and 250'000 respectively.
The open challenge however saw local resident Batair Highlander as the winner on his AT-RT vehicle, beating Askisi Criso and Barrenger Fynar, the former driving a restored pod racer, the latter also riding an AT-RT. Again the winner took a 1'000'000 prize home, 2nd place 500'000, 3rd place 250'000.
Contrary to past races no tusken raiders tried to take potshot at the racers this time, nor were any other troubles reported, other than some navigational failures on some vehicles.
