Last night the Alliance to restore the Republic launched several attempts to break an Imperial blockade around Rori. Rebel transport ships lifting off from Rori were escorted by fighters in an attempt to reach the Penumbra Omen hyperspace jump point - where Imperial fighters were waiting for them.
Despite several attempts the rebel blockade runners were destroyed, with their escorts suffering serious losses. A rebel counter attack on Imperial freighters was repulsed as well.

There were also reports of heavy fighting in Deep Space, though information about the outcome of that battle is scarce so far.
