According to some sources there have been more frequent sightings of cannibals on Tatooine lately. While most may be an urban myth, a recent attack in Mos Carova has been more substantial.
From what is known two unknown humans assaulted a man in town after having lured him away from his friends with a request for help fixing their speeder. Only the timely intervention of residents and visitors saved their chosen victim from a gruesome fate.
Due to a slightly overly aggressive response of the bystanders - understandable given the circumstances - the remains of the two attackers were not in a state that allowed easy identification.
Residents and visitors on Tatooine are adviced to be on their guard when approached by strangers.
