A week ago the Intergalactic Mining Corporation chartered the light freighter "TTC-Tencilia", a YT-2400 class ship, from TTC to ship ore from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion shipyards in Ord Mantell. Patryn Starfire flew the ship, supported by gunners Batair Highlander and Cruk'a Kall'Mor. The Imperial Navy provided an escort, a TIE Fighter.
The freighter reached the Naboo system without incident, but was then attacked by a KSE Firespray and an aging ARC-170 near the hypespace jumppoint Sea of Veruna. The escorting TIE Fighter engaged the pirates while the freighter boosted away, and while the TIE was shot down in the end it had gained enough time for the freighter to lose the pursuit.
Upon entering the Ord Mantell system the YT-2400 was attacked again, but made a run for the station and managed to safely land without taking damage.
IMC shares rose 2% at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
