Kefic Mourn steals IMC Cargo

Last night the Intergalactic Mining Corporation chartered the "Witch of Endor", a medium freighter owned and piloted by Captain Kefic Mourn, to transport a large amount of crystalline gemstone from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell.

The trip started with trouble as the "Witch of Endor" was attacked right after leaving tatooine's orbit by what appeard to be a deserter from the Imperial Fleet. The freighter managed to jump out witthout taking damage. More attacks followed in the Corellia System by several pirate ships, and also in Ord Mantell. The pirates were ultimately all shot down.



Things took a turn for the worse when the "Witch of Endor" did not land at the Nova Orion Station but executed another jump. The crew - hired spacers, not the ship's regular crew - were shocked to discover that Captain Mourn had trapped them in order to maroon them and steal the cargo.

The crew was recovered by a diverted shuttle from the Nova Orion Station afterwards. An imperial investigation is on the way. Anyone with information concerning the "Witch of Endor" or Captain Kefic Mourn is asked to contact the investigating officer, Jolson Kell.

Rumors claim the "Witch of Endor" is a sort of Ghost Ship, as leaked footage of its interiour might indicate:



IMC's stock fell 2,5% at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
