Last night the local sector lit up again when the fleets of the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic clashed once again in their struggle for space superiority.
The Rebel Alliance struck the first blow, shooting down an escorted imperial transport with a secret cargo, but suffered a setback shortly afterwards when due to technical troubles a transport of their own was lost in space.
Following that setback the Alliance ships failed to stop another imperial transport, and finally lost a crucial transport to an Imperial bloackde force despite their determinded escorts. Leaving a rear guard the bulk of their forces withdrew to rally in Deep Space.
