Last week the Intergalactic Mining Corporation hired two known and respected veteran pilots, Dee'lin Sarlo, captain of the YT-1300-class "Phoenix", and Athmis Thewix, captain of the "CORT Starflare", another YT-1300, to ship ore from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell. Falcun Nix, Britney and Therrid acted as gunners, Barrenger Fynar and Yescek Shadowlight flew escort, in a Vaksai and Belbullab-22
The ships were attacked in the Corellia System near Talus Secta by two pirates. In the ensuing fight both escorts enganged the pirates, allowing the two freighters to escape without taking any damage. Barrenger Fynar's ship was damaged and required repairs at Corellia Orbital afterwards while Yescek Shadowlight's fighter lost its weapons but could disengage and follow the freighters. One pirate was shot down while the other escaped.
IMC's stock rose 1,5% at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
