Last night the Nova Orion Station sent a small team to Yavin IV to destroy a pirate camp there. According to the reports the camp had been discovered earlier when a pirate raider had been tracked from the Nova Orion System to Yavin IV, where it made landfall.
The team was made of mercenaries but under the command of an officer from the Imperial Army, and destroyed the camp (and all surrounding wildlife) in a short firefight before securing supplies and data.
According to unconfirmed reports one pirate managed to escape to a cave nearby. The exact circumstances and his current status remains unknown but rumors claim the team suffeered several casualties trying to arerst or kill that fugitive.
