Six days ago the Intergalactic Mining Corporation's weekly convoy set sail from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell again. The ore was transported by Therrid's Y-8 medium freighter, which was piloted by Dee'lin, and the TTC-Tencilia, piloted by Ahl-Vinn. Barrenger Vynar flew escort.
The convoy was attacked in the Corellia System by what looked like a deserter from the Imperial Navy in a TIE, an ARC-170 and a Scyk. The convoy took evasive action and a lengthy chase followed during which all three pirates were shot down while pursuing the convoy.
IMC shares rose 1% at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
