One week ago the IMC Convoy set out to transport ore from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to Ord Mantell's Nova Orion Station again, despite two pirated convoys in the weeks before. The convoy consisted of captain Dee'lin Sarlo's "Phoenix" and captain Britney's "Sugar Rush", with the "Defiance" and Falcun Nix flying escort.
This time the BWI pirates did not show up, though an unmarked "Vigo" class pirate gunboat attacked in the Corellia system, but succumbed to the combined firepower of the convoy in a short fight.
IMC shares rose 2 % at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news, though analysts are unsure whether or not the threat posed by BWI is truly over, or if they are just focusing their efforts elswhere for the moment. The bounty on them is still in effect.
