Farpoint Valley's mayor Kimisei Bythmi announced today that the city was opening a new landing pad. The landing pad, constructed by the Pulsar Corporation, is situated near the shuttleport, which will continue to serve the planetary shuttles, and able to handle light freighters such as the YT-1300 and YT-2400, which are most commonly used in the weekly ore transports of the Intergalactic Mining Company.
The mayor, here next to Lady Thaesus Andromeda, stated that the landing pad was a logical consequence of the expansion the town was currently experiencing, and thanked H'oshi QaVam, director of the Pulsar Corporation, for the excellent design by his company.
The landing pad incorporates a tunnel as well, for easier access to the primary banking terminal of Farpoint Valley.
