A week ago, the Intergalactic Mining Company's chartered freighter, the "TTC-Starchild" was attacked while transporting ore from Tatooine to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell by an unidentified pirate YT-2400 in the Naboo system.
The freighters' escort, a KSE Firespray-class patrol ship piloted by Bawi Seida, was disabled in the fight but it had bought the TTC-Starchild and the second escort, a Y-Wing piloted by Ilofo, enough time to disptach the pirate raider with proton torpedoes. After repairs all three ships continued without further attacks to Ord Mantell.
IMC stock rose 5% following the news.
