IMC Freighter lost in Naboo

A week ago, the Intergalactic Mining Company's chartered freighter, the "TTC-Starchild", was was attacked while transporting ore from Tatooine to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell. Despite an escort that was scouting the attackers - three A-Wing starfighters - soon isolated the ship and disabled its engines.

As soon as the ship was disabled the raiders vectored a Y-8 ship in to take over the cargo. When the crew of the "TTC Starchild" performed emergency repairs on the shot up reactor and opened fire on the Y-8, the ship was blown up in response by the A-Wings. The crew was said to have donned vacuum-suits before this, and podded, but the exact circumstances are not known.



While usually pirates are behind such attacks the use of highly capable Hgh-speed A-Wing fighters led a few experts to suspect rebel involvement in this raid. So far, no other clues have been found to prove or disprove this suspicion though.

IMC shares fell 5 % at the Coronet Stock Exchange 5% following the news.
