Garux Reitor killed!

Yesterday the rodian Garux Reitor was brutally killed in Mos Carova. According to a number of accounts the rodian had a meeting with a human male in a bar in town, apparently an old acquaintance. An acquaintance that was holding a grudge, as it turned out, when the human used the opportunity given by someone else knocking Garux Reitor from behind to draw a blaster and aim it at the well-known arms dealer and information broker.

Witnesses claim that Mister Reitor remained calm in the face of imminent death, probably the result of having survived several other assassination attmepts in the past, one as late as last week. Showing no remorse but admitting gleefully to past crimes the rodian was shot after a last cigarra - the often over-used "execution-style" tag was a perfect fit in this case.

The killer managed to escape in the brief firefight following the murder. According to some sources other criminals were already racing to grab what they could of Mr. Reitor's assets before the dead rodian's body had even reached the med center and his brains were cleaned up from the cantina floor.

Another rumor claims that the Glaston Pirates had the med center under lockdown, but given how oftne the town suffers from violent incidents, that could very well be unrelated to this murder.

With Garux Reitor leaving stock that could be worth millions as well as potentially equally valuable information some residents fear that a new gang war may result of this murder as several syndicates struggle to get as big a piece as they manage of the estate.
