More pirate attacks in Naboo

The Naboo system remains a qite dangerous system for interestellar merchants, despite the large military presence in the system. The reason for the frequent attacks is likely related to the Galactic Civil War - with the battle of Restuss raging on, most of the military ships are tied up in the struggle for control of the planet's orbit, and not available for policing the spacelanes.

A week ago the cargo convoy transporting ore for the Intergalactic Mining Corporation from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion shipyards in Ord Mantell was therefore beset by pirates again.

Inaera Kell's YT-2400 "Outlaw's Justice", with veteran gunner Falcun Nix and Ramona, as well as Captain Awyn's transport "Dark Valkyre", with Flar gunning, were escorted by Barrenger Fynar's newly modified Dunelizard. Yet the three ships were attacked by a Z-95 and an X-Wing.



In the short battle both Barrenger and the "Outlaw's Justice" took some damage before the pirates were dealt with and the convoy continued to Ord Mantell.

IMC shares rose 1% at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
