Six days ago the weekly cargo convoy transporting ore for the Intergalactic Mining Corporation from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to the Nova Orion shipyards was struck by pirates in the Tatooine system, like a week earlier already.
Captain Kentt' flew with the Y-8 medium freighter "Dieting Sarlacc II", Captain Alila Tisoni in her YT-2400 "Corellian Star" while Batair Highlander piloted the YT-2400 "TTC-Tencilia", with Ahl-Vin and Patryn serving as escorts.
Despite their numbers all ships of the convoy were severly damaged in a short engagement and most of the cargo was lost, with the remainder robbed by the pirates. The wounded were later treated in the Farpoint Valley Medical Center.
IMC shares fell 5% at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
