Last week the Intergalactic Mining Corporation sent another convoy from Farpoint Valley, Tatooine, to Ord Mantell's Nova Orion Station. The convoy was composed of the YT-1300 light freighter "Aluminum Falcon", crewed by Zakor and Oblin, and Ironhide's YT-2400 "Night Hawk" as well as Captain Uamawash in his YT-2400 "Uber House".
The convoy was attacked by a pirate flying a AEG-77 "Vigo"-class gunboat near the Trifecta Star hyperspace jump point in the Corellia System, but the raider was shot down after a longer engagement.
The convoy reached the Nova Orion Station safely, but during the transfer of the cargo unknown raiders, one of them wearing an ubese armor suit and wielding a carbine according to witnesses, attacked and a sizeable part of the ore weas stolen. Oblin was wounded during the attack and had to be evacced to the next safe medical facility.
Captain Ironhide' questioned some stations along the covnoy route and found out that they had been threatened in the Naboo system, possibly by members of the Black Sun. Ironhide hismelf was attacked at the occasion by a Krayt Guship named "The Ventress" - a ship seen at Nova Orion during the robbery. The ship was destroyed and investigations revealed that it was using IFF codes stolen from captain Barrenger Fynar, an experienced escort pilot for the convoy.
IMC shares rose 2% at the Coronet Stock Exchange.
