One week ago the TTC-Retribution, on a flight carrying ore for the Intergalactic Mining company, was attacked by pirates in the Naboo system near the old Trade Federation Hulk. This was not expected, since the pirates preying on freighters in the Naboo system had been dealt a severe blow just a week before.
Fortunately the ship was escorted by several fighters. One of them, an X-Wing piloted by Afafan, had been delayed to to technical problems with the hyperdrive, but the pirates - a heavy scyk and a Y-Wing LP, both chassis popular among pirates, were engaged by pilot Sargo in his Z-95 and an imperial pilot flying a TIE Advanced.
Both pirates were shot down without losses among the defenders, and the trip was continued to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell without further troubles.
IMC shares rose 2 % at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.
