Last week the Intergalactic Mining Company suffered another pirate attack in the Naboo system near Kylanthia's Whim when the YT-2400 class TTC-Retribution flying without an escort was attacked by two raiders. One raider was taken down, but the other raider, a vaksai, kelt chasing the freighter, eventually disabling ship. The crew barely managed to escape before the ship was blown up by in the name of "The Consortium".
Experts are not sure who exactly this new group is, but declined speculation that this may be part of the infamous Thunder Pirates. IMC was quoted stating that they will be hiring more security for the next cargo.
IMC shares fell 2 % at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.

Pirate Attack in Ord Mantell

Last week the Intergalactic Mining Company sent another freighter carrying ore from Tatooine to Ord Mantell. The freighter - the YT-2400 class TTC-Retribution - was escorted by a TIE Bomber, due to recent pirate attacks in the Naboo system. Contrary to expectations the trip through the Naboo system saw no pirate attacks, but upon arriving in the Ord Mantell system the freighter and escort were attacked by an ARC-170 without working IFF transponder - a pirate.
Fortuantely the pirate ship was quickly blown up by the escorting TE Bomber and the freighter arrived safely at the Nova Orion station, where the ore was delivered to the shipyard of the station.
IMC shares rose 2 % at the Coronet Stock Exchange following the news.

Pirate attacks foiled!

After the last freighter had encountered no troue the Intergalactic Mining Company sent another freighter last week with ore for from Tatooine to Ord Mantell. The freighter - the YT-2400 class TTC-Retribution - was escorted by a TIE Advanced, callsign Coagulated. The following footage was taken from the remains of the astrodroids of the raiders:
Unexpectedly the freighter - flown by Captain Draconii and his crew - was attacked twice in the Naboo system by unidentified ships thought to be pirates. Thanks to the gunnery of the crew and the skill of the escort pilot the pirates were dealt with and the ship and tis cargo reached the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell safely.

Pirates still active in the Naboo System!

One week ago the TTC-Retribution, on a flight carrying ore for the Intergalactic Mining company, was attacked by pirates in the Naboo system near the old Trade Federation Hulk. This was not expected, since the pirates preying on freighters in the Naboo system had been dealt a severe blow just a week before.
Fortunately the ship was escorted by several fighters. One of them, an X-Wing piloted by Afafan, had been delayed to to technical problems with the hyperdrive, but the pirates - a heavy scyk and a Y-Wing LP, both chassis popular among pirates, were engaged by pilot Sargo in his Z-95 and an imperial pilot flying a TIE Advanced.
Both pirates were shot down without losses among the defenders, and the trip was continued to the Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell without further troubles.
