Incident in Farpoint Valley - Aak almost attacked again

Date: 290809
Planet: Tatooine
Region: Farpoint Valley

Story: (Written by the Galactic News Agency, Ramona doesn't write IC).

Last night the infamous toydarian slaver Aak visited Jailbirds, the nightclub run by the Neutron Pixies in Farpoint Valley. The slaver entered with his slave Mischi-Mischi, still mourning the death of her sister, and a man wearing ubese armor, one of his guards, and was meeting a few of his acquaintances to talk shop, as far as is known.

The rest of the club was busy, with three members of the Neutron Pixies, Ramona, Clarissa and Tal'Shiva, dancing and visiting musician Coljo Niham soon taking over the musical parts. Things took a turn for the worse when Aak's guard was seen manipulating what looked like a micro-lab and muttering about a virus, and Aak stating at the same time that Twi'leks had primitive minds.

The latter insult caused Tal'Shiva, a proud twi'lek, to confront Aak and give him a piece of her mind while Aak's guard was told to leave the club and do not conduct any biological experiments in there again, ever. Since Aak's guard was concerned with defending Aak from the verbal and potential physical attacks from Tal'Shiva, which was backed by friends of hers, he did not heed the order to leave, and when he threatened the people present with retaliation by the Brotherhood of Dosh a fight seemed inevitable.

The situation was fortunately defused when Aak left, taking his entourage with him. According to Farpoint's Mayor Kimisei Bythmi, who had the incident investigated, the virus was later identified as harmless. Mayor Bythmi cautioned people though, with the memory of the Talus Plague so fresh still, to take care not to conduct experiments involving viruses outside sealed enviroments. The Neutron Pixies announced that Jailbirds would be receiving upgraded bio-scanners to avoid such incidents in the future.
